Pic of Phone

In the 2011-2012 school year, the tech department answered up to 20 calls in a day, with the average duration for all calls being 2 minutes and 25 seconds. If one considers that e-mail is the most popular means of communication, that translates to some very busy technicians.

There are currently approximately 50 staff and 295 students for every one technician. Adding duties outside of the schools only adds to the work load these guys perform. The helpdesk number is 541-426-7607 and is generally manned during school hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

On the Spring evaluation of the ESD, 80% of administrators rated their satisfaction with Technology Services at 5 out of 5.

Given this data, I 'd say we're doing quite well. Wouldn't you agree?

Every so often a windows computer will decide it just doesn't want to work. Now, be it an unhappy windows update or a sneaky little virus bent on worldwide pc infection, we have a solution!!! widthOccasionally, the Tech Center is tasked with editing instructional or promotional videos. Many don't realize the hours it takes to produce even a short video. Often, we don't shoot or gather the content, rather we facilitate making a staff member's concept into reality. A recent example would be the Outdoor School 2011 video.
